Helly and Stu married at Christ Church in Stannington, Sheffield. Helly's dad is the priest there (although on this particular day he had the day off!) so the ceremony was particularly important to them. After serving lemonade and scones in the vicarage back garden, we snook off to a local reservoir and made wedding portraits in a car park. Meanwhile guests enjoyed sharing platters and copious amounts of red wine at a warehouse in the city centre where we caught up with them a little later. It rained pretty much all day and the skies were miserable and grey - not that that mattered in the slightest because we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Helly is a very close friend of mine and the goodest of eggs; she's a fellow houseplant enthusiast and also an excellent photographer.
