It was one of those rare days that felt almost stolen; blue skies, proper heat, and the kind of sunshine that had everyone loosening ties and hunting for shade. Kilruddery shimmered in it. Old stone warmed through, gardens buzzing, glasses glimmering in hands. The light gilded simple moments; raspberries atop a single tier cake, bare bottoms in the orangery, a bride and groom stealing a quiet smile in the shade of an old tree.
